Broadstairs has quite a large number of events each year some of which are listed on this page.

Fri 17th Feb to Sun 19th Feb Broadstairs Blues Bash This event is a free Blues music festival which is now into its fourth year & takes place annually in mid-February in the Victorian sea-side town of Broadstairs in Kent, England, UK. In 2011 we put over 30 local, national and international Blues acts into 15 venues in the town and the festival attracted several thousand people. Due to this year's success, 2012 promises to be even bigger and better with more venues and acts coming on board. Broadstairs has a vibrant exciting music scene and with small intimate wine-bars, friendly pubs and bars, larger pubs and one ticketed (350+) venue with a huge headline act, it is the ideal town for a Blues festival. The Broadstairs Blues Bash attracts high quality performers, so if you're a fan of old Blues, new Blues, GREAT Blues, this festival is definitely one not to miss.

Throughout the week, there will be varied entertainment and competitions - plus opportunities to take tea with the Dickensians, enjoy an Historical Walk with Peter Shaw and participate in various workshops. See the noticeboards around the town for details.
Fri 10th Aug to Fri 17th Aug Folk WeekFolk Week the best gig in town, a week long festival of over 500 events with something for everyone. Sing dance and play the week away. Make sure you have your holidays booked for this event!
Fri 5th Oct to Sun 7th Oct Broadstairs Food Festval The best produce from Kent, the Garden of England. Throughout Festival there is plenty of entertainment and food treats for all ages.

Fri 6th Jul to Sun 8th Jul Seaside Shuffle at Ramsgate Following the success of the first event in 2011 the 'Seaside Shuffle' Traditional Jazz Festival will be returning. Events will be taking place around the town during the event.
Sat 21st Jul to Sun 22nd Jul Ramsgate Carnival Weekend Two day fair at Government Acre on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July. Ramsgate Carnival is on Sunday 22nd July 2012 with a two day fair.
Sat 28th Jul to Sun 29th Jul Thanet at War at Ramsgate Annual event taking place at Government Acre, Royal Esplanade run by Bygone Days Historical Group with side shows entertainment and displays.
