Sadly after 15 years reporting the weather here my weather station, a Davis VP1, has started to fail, it has had no wind speed now for some months and
now the rain guage has failed plus one or two other imperfections. I have decided to stop publishing the weather inbformation now rather than
have incorrect or missing data. I hope I may restart at some stage in the future if/when I obtain a new automatic weather station.
I will continue to publish my forecasts, tide predictions and sea conditions as they do not rely on my local weather data. The pages for earthquakes,
radar images and lightning will also continue.
You can view weather information at Thanet Weather
site at St Peters, the live weather is at Weather Console.
This is the closest station at present.
